Fundraising @ HOPE
It costs £270,00 per year to run the H.O.P.E. Family Centre and all its services and facilities since we try to make everything free or as affordable as possible. Funding is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain - many organsations are chasing the same grants. If we are to secure the future of HOPE, it is vital that we try to generate our own income.
The Shop is doing well, thanks to some very generous people giving their time for free for the first two months and Heather Hood has worked hard to put together a team of volunteers.
Other people who put in their time for free are Lawrence Haddock who help us out around the centre and Judith Evans, who helps in the Numeracy Group.
Ways you can help us
If you have enjoyed the facilities and services at H.O.P.E. there are many ways you can help, here are a few:
- help in the garden
- help in the shop
- offer to be an escort on the minibus
- man (or woman!) the reception desk
