H.O.P.E. (Holistic Opportunities for Play and Education) has derived from and is driven by the needs of the community.
The Family Centre is here for everyone and we do mean "family" in the widest sense from parents to grandparents to carers, don't hesitate to come and have a look at the New Family Centre or talk to us about the services we offer here.
Our philosophy is to strive to provide a safe and relaxed environment where children and adults can develop social and creative skills hand in hand with their educational experiences.
- to develop lively enquiring minds, together with a willingness to ask questions and argue rationally
- to think and act creatively and with imagination
- to gain knowledge, skills and understanding appropriate to a fast changing world
- to grow in confidence and independence and to know the value of co-operation
- to understand the feelings of others, to respect their values and to consider thoughtfully their own attitudes, values and beliefs
- to achieve their true potential and to take pride in that achievement, while taking pleasure in the achievement of others
